For the purposes of the DPDP Act, Dr. Date Clinic is the Data Fiduciary in respect of the personal data described in this policy.
2. What information we collect
Information you give us directly. When you complete an appointment, enquiry, callback or contact form on this website, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- The treatment or service you have selected or asked about
- Any additional message or clinical detail you choose to include
The treatment you select tells us something about your health interests. We treat that as sensitive information and handle it with the same confidentiality as any other clinical enquiry.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect limited technical information through cookies and similar technologies — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and time spent on the site. This is collected via Google Tag Manager and the analytics and advertising tools it loads. See section 7.
What we do not collect here. This website does not process payments and does not host medical records. Please do not send diagnostic reports, images or detailed medical history through the website forms — bring them to your consultation instead.
3. Why we use your information
- To respond to your appointment request and arrange or confirm a consultation
- To answer questions you have asked us about a procedure
- To contact you about your enquiry by phone, email or WhatsApp
- To maintain a record of enquiries for clinic administration
- To understand how the website is used, so we can improve it
- To meet legal, regulatory and medical record-keeping obligations
We do not use your contact details for unrelated marketing without your consent, and we do not sell your personal data to anyone.
4. The basis on which we process your data
We process the personal data you submit through our forms on the basis of the consent you give when you submit that form, for the purpose stated at the point of collection. Where we are required to retain information to comply with law or professional obligations, we do so on that legal basis.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to [email protected]. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out, and may mean we can no longer action your appointment request.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal data only where necessary, and only with:
- Clinic and hospital staff involved in scheduling or delivering your care
- Our email and website service providers, who host this site and deliver form submissions to us
- Analytics and advertising providers (such as Google), which receive website usage data as described in section 7
- Regulators, courts or authorities, where disclosure is required by law
Some of these providers operate servers outside India. Where personal data is transferred outside India, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected to the standard described in this policy.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and appointment data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, and thereafter for as long as we are required to retain it under applicable medical record-keeping and statutory obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or render it non-attributable.
7. Cookies and website analytics
This site uses cookies and similar technologies, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use the site and to measure the performance of our campaigns. Non-essential cookies are set only after you accept them via the consent banner shown on your first visit. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, and you can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies does not stop you from using the site or submitting a form.
8. Keeping your information secure
This website is served over HTTPS, and access to form submissions is limited to clinic personnel who need it. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and loss. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
Subject to the DPDP Act, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data of yours we hold and how it is being processed
- Ask us to correct data that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date
- Ask us to erase data we no longer need to keep
- Withdraw a consent you previously gave
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf
- Raise a grievance about how we have handled your data
To exercise any of these, write to [email protected]. We will respond within the timeframe required by law.
10. Grievance redressal
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal data, you may contact our Grievance Officer:
