Dr. Date completed his plastic surgery training at the Topiwala National Medical College in Mumbai, India, which is one of the top plastic surgery programs in the country. All his prior medical training, as well as general surgical training, is from top government medical colleges and hospitals. Dr. Date has done his fellowships in various countries with leading plastic surgery institutes, honing his skills in all aspects of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Date was one of the few to be selected for the highly sought Microsurgery and lymphatic surgery fellowship at China Medical University Hospital in Taiwan. He has also trained briefly with Dr. Corrine Becker who is a world-renowned expert in lymphatic surgery. He was an invited international scholar for Breast Cancer Reconstruction training at St. Andrew’s Centre In the UK.
